Beata Wybraniec, 53, of South Elgin, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023. She was born on December 14, 1969, in Poland, the daughter of Albin and Alicja (Ciombor) Waz. Beata was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend to many.

Beata had a compassionate and faithful spirit, always seeing the bright side of every situation. She was a devoted friend, a cherished mother who put her family and friends only second to her faith in Jesus Christ. Beata will be remembered for her calmness and her ability to counsel anyone in need. Her love for dancing and singing was one of her many passions. She also enjoyed kettlebell workouts at Sinergy Kettlebell, where she took care of herself mentally and physically. Beata was an active member of St. Patrick Parish in St. Charles, IL, where she practiced her Catholic faith.

Beata is survived by her three children, Michal Wybraniec, Matthew Wybraniec, and Monica (Tomasz) Surgot, and her grandson Paul Wesley Surgot. She is also survived by her parents, Albin and Alicja Waz, her sister Dorota (Jan) Wojcik, her brother Sylwester Waz, many nieces and nephews, and her significant other Tim Salamon.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Friday, April 21, 2023, at Moss-Norris Funeral Home, 100 South Third Street St. Charles, IL. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at St. Patrick Parish, 6N491 Crane Road St. Charles, IL. Interment will follow at Maryhill Catholic Cemetery, 8600 North Milwaukee Ave., Niles, IL, at 12:30 P.M.

Beata will be missed dearly by her family and friends, who will always remember her kind heart, infectious laugh, and unwavering faith. May she rest in eternal peace.

Beata's kindness and love for others will always be remembered by those who knew her. She had a special gift for helping others in need and her positive attitude and calming presence will be greatly missed.

Beata will be deeply missed by her children, Michal, Matthew, and Monica; grandson, Paul Wesley Surgot; parents, Albin and Alicja Waz; sister, Dorota (Jan) Wojcik; brother, Sylwester Waz; nieces, nephews, and her significant other, Tim Salamon.
